Property
Description:
“Belvedere”, a word for beautiful view, is an
outstanding 6 bedroom, 5500 square foot,
tropically landscaped 1 ½ acre oceanfront
estate. Located in the low traffic, residential
area of the Isle of Palms, it was built as a
warm and welcoming luxurious private family
retreat and is therefore unlike many of the
other large, commercially built rental
properties. Its unparalleled panoramic views,
large, comfortable spaces and fine furnishings
easily meet the needs of the most discriminating
beach visitor. Extensive large oceanfront
porches and a 7 seat Hot Springs
Spa at the dunes’ edge, readily make for total
relaxation and enjoyment . A private boardwalk
is only steps from the unspoiled and
inviting beachfront .
All levels
are conveniently serviced by an elevator which
makes provisioning and moving-in effortless. 6
TVs and WIFI throughout. GROUND LEVEL: Covered
parking for 3 vehicles with additional driveway
parking for 5, ping-pong table, gas grill, 2 hot
showers with dressing areas, a ½ bath, 2 kayaks,
rafts and 8 beach chairs. FIRST FLOOR: A social
center, the large, well-equipped gourmet kitchen
has 2 Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezers, a 6 burner
commercial gas range with double oven and
griddle, a wet bar with icemaker and a
dishwasher. A large butler’s pantry and laundry
room provide ample storage. The entry area,
dining room and living room all provide a
spectacular ocean view and present an immediate
appreciation of a special place. The
dining room and separate, ocean front casual
eating area each have seating for 10. Kitchen
counters seat 4. The media/bedroom has a
widescreen TV, a game table, and sleeper sofa
with an adjacent full bath. A Queen VIP
bedroom suite is also on the 1st
level. SECOND FLOOR: An oversized Master Suite
with King has an ocean view sitting area with a
Queen Sleeper Sofa. There are 2 other Queen
bedrooms each with full baths and all have private
porches. A 6th bedroom sleeps 4
children in 2 bunk beds and has a ½ bath. A
balcony pool table overlooks the living room and
beachfront.
Linens
are provided. The home is not to be used for any
large gathering exceeding 21 guests. Only
Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals from May 19
to Sept. 8. 3 night minimum in off-season.
